Links to the Future Campaign
The Fraternity’s Links to the Future Campaign is a fund raising effort that will provide resources to enhance the Centennial anniversary of the Fraternity, as well as to provide a strong foundation for our future. The goal of the campaign is to raise money to fund projects that our Foundation cannot, due to IRS regulations. The campaign name was chosen to tie to our symbolism of an everlasting chain of sisterhood uniting our past with our future.
The funds raised will be used to invest in a professional quality archives display, new ritual equipment for business sessions at national convention, including new shields and chair covers, and to establish a commemorative memorial for our centennial. These projects are explained in more detail below.
If you have any questions or suggestions for the Links to the Future Campaign, please email Leslie Ervin Trahant, Campaign Chairman, at Links@thetaphialpha.org.

GOALS OF THE LINKS TO THE FUTURE CAMPAIGN
ARCHIVES
Inventory of archive items at National Office – create a digital copy of Eva Stroh's scrapbook in order to make the information accessible and keep the original from being handled – storage containers, frames and museum cubes to display archived objects in a protected, orderly, and readable manner at Convention and at National Office - create a historical timeline display celebrating Theta Phi Alpha's progress
ARCHIVE EXPENSES: trip to national office to inventory and identify items that need protection; photographer to take professional photos of Eva's scrapbooks in proper lighting; money to create the true digital scrapbook, where you can turn the pages, etc.; frames and cases as necessary for display; tablecloths and runners for displays; pop up displays similar to extension displays that show a time line of the Fraternity's history.
CHAIN OF CHAPTERS
It is a chain of links, each one engraved with a chapter name and year of installation (all chapters, open and closed) - a tangible, visible symbol of our connectedness and sisterhood - a tangible, visible symbol of tenets expressed in our rituals
CHAIN OF CHAPTERS EXPENSES: buying the links; having them engraved; having them connected; a case for them to be stored; a case for them to be shipped; a display board and table cloth.

NEW EQUIPMENT FOR CONVENTION BUSINESS SESSIONS
New shields for chapter and alumnae association delegates - chair covers for delegate, Grand Council, and convention officials seating
NEW EQUIPMENT EXPENSES: new shields; chair covers.
COMMEMORATIVE CENTENNIAL MARKER
Donating a marker to the University of Michigan is very costly for an item (a bench or a tree) that would not be accessible or visible to the vast majority of Theta Phi Alphas. It has been suggested that we develop a commemorative plaque of some type that would reside at National Office and recognize our founders.
COMMEMORATIVE MARKER EXPENSE: plaque for national office.
